1. Information We Collect

Account information: Replit user ID, email address, chosen username, display name, profile image URL (provided by Replit Auth). EBookFactory does not store passwords.
Generated content: Book manuscripts, cover images (front, back, spine), chapter content, outlines, and metadata you create using the platform.
Usage data: Generation history, credit transactions, per-chapter cost breakdowns, AI token usage, daily limit configurations, and Auto Loop preferences.
Payment information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details. We retain Stripe customer IDs and transaction references for billing reconciliation and Auto Top-Up functionality.
Account management data: Your assigned role, account status, administrative notes (visible only to the platform owner), and audit logs of significant account actions.

To provide and maintain the EBookFactory service, including AI-powered manuscript generation, cover art creation (front, back, spine), and export features.
To track usage, manage credit balances (available and reserved), and enforce daily generation limits and spending caps that you configure.
To process payments and manage credit balances through Stripe, including Auto Top-Up automatic purchases.
To provide Auto Loop continuous generation and Auto Top-Up automation features you configure.
To generate atmosphere-aware cover art that reflects the mood, setting, and content of your manuscript.
To store and deliver your completed books, cover images, and KDP-Ready packages via cloud storage.
To support account management including role-based access control and user status management by the platform owner.
To detect and recover credits stuck in reserved state through automated background processes.

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Replit's infrastructure.
Completed books, cover images, and download packages are stored in cloud storage (Google Cloud Storage via Replit Object Storage) and can be re-downloaded anytime.
Payment data is processed and stored by Stripe under their security standards.
All data transmission occurs over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

We do not sell your personal data.
Book content is sent to OpenAI for AI generation (manuscript text, cover image generation via DALL-E 3). This data is subject to OpenAI's data usage policies.
Payment information is shared with Stripe for transaction processing.
We may share data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

You can delete individual books and their associated content at any time.
You can request full account deletion by contacting the platform owner.
You can view your credit transaction history and generation logs from within the application.
European users may have additional rights under GDPR.
